It was just a regular night right after I logged off the PC for the day. I was battling in the Open Level Battle Factory in Pokemon Emerald when all of a sudden, I got to choose a Kangaskhan with a nifty set of moves. I got that, a Charizard, and a Dugtrio.
I couldn't help but notice for the first time that Kangaskhan's sprite in Brendan's side of the field had its baby on its shoulder! I couldn't help but go "Awww! X3" at the sight; it was just too damned cute!
So, I paused the game right before the turn when I got beaten (by a Starmie and a Lapras) and checked out Kanga's stats. I left the game like that and hypothesized what the baby would look like outside of its mother's pouch. I made 5 quick sketches.
1 - Standalone Chibi Kangaskhan
(Made right after I paused the game, so the horns are out of place.)
2 - Playful Kangaskhan (it needs a name and it needs to be a separate baby Pokemon... T_T')
(I found this one to be the best out of the five!! X3)
3 - Kanga Eating a Riceball
(This one's proportion was rather off...)
4 - Kanga Practicing a "Dizzy Punch"
(I always wondered how a Kangaskhan would look like performing this move... O_o)
5 - Sleeping Kanga
(What it would look like sleeping in its mother's pouch.)
I might mess around with #2 later on. It might even make it as a true Deviation! ^_^
A collection of the most beautiful and amazing square photographs I found among my favourites. Please have a look and give these artists the attention they deserve!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
