Yikes, where has the time gone by?  I'm slacking in everything right now!  That's not healthy.  D:

So, yeah.  Pokémon White has completely ensnared my soul.  Perhaps this time I may be able to complete the Pokédex for the first time.  Ever.  Despite being a closet Pokémaniac, I have never gotten the luxury of completing a single Pokédex... whether it's the region's or the National version.

All I'm missing now, however, is Tornadus (and Landorus, but I can't get that one without the former).  At least, to complete the Unova Dex.  A kind soul was... well, kind enough to trade me a Vullaby, which isn't available in my version.  I got lucky with the other version exclusives since I could search them out on the GTS, but I hadn't even seen any of the vultures, so...

Anywho, I also snagged Okamiden last Friday, but since I'm so wrapped up playing Pokémon right now, I'm considering saving that one for Spring Break.  It'll be a nice change of pace, hopefully.

Now, to put my gaming life aside for a brief moment...

I realized I wasted an entire Premium membership here on dA.  I didn't take full advantage of it, anyway; all I got was this fancy skin that probably won't be used on a non-Premium membership.  I've wanted my 200th deviation to be a big hit, but that's not going to happen anytime soon.  So, I say screw it!  I'm going to start submitting sketches again, just like the old days.  Well, somewhat.  They'll just be that: sketches.  So don't expect anything extraordinary.

I also managed to finish a little Pokémon fanfic I began a bit before HeartGold/SoulSilver came out overseas, but I didn't want to release it then because of possible spoilers.  Now that enough time has passed (too much time, in my opinion), I sat down and finished it as best as I could.  It's not the most professional thing I've done, seeing as I wanted to go for a more ridiculously cheesy, cartoonish feel with it (much like the Pokémon anime of old), so I hope you guys won't judge me on that regard.

Oh, yeah, and the main Trainer has the uncanny ability of having any Pokémon he befriends understand and utilize human speech.  I realize aspects like these might turn off a lot of people, but someone has to do it.  At least the Pokémon have their own distinct personalities (and conflicts of such), making for some humorous situations.  We'll see.
